Membership options & application
The Association welcomes growers and organisations of every scale. From estate owners and lessees to firms, associations and individuals interested in the plantation sector, there is a category of membership to suit you. Explore the types of members below.
Types of Members
Association Member
Any planting or other Association in Karnataka, whether incorporated or unincorporated, having objects altogether or in part similar to those of the KPA is eligible to be an Association Member.
Firm Member
Any Company, Firm, Corporation or Association of persons interested in the objects of the KPA, or desirous of being associated with its members, if not eligible for other categories, can become a Firm Member.
Personal Member
Any person who is interested in the objects of the KPA and who is not otherwise eligible for membership can become a Personal Member of the Association.
Ordinary Member
Any owner or part owner in possession, or lessee in possession, of an estate in Karnataka can be an Ordinary Member of the Association.
UPASI Member
Members affiliated through the United Planters' Association of Southern India, connecting Karnataka's growers to the wider network of South Indian plantation interests.
Associate Member
Any owner or part owner in possession, or lessee in possession, of an estate in Karnataka comprising an area of 10 hectares and below is eligible to be an Associate Member.
