KPA submits monsoon relief proposal to the State
The Association has petitioned the State government for relief measures following an erratic monsoon across the planting districts.
The Karnataka Planters' Association has submitted a detailed relief proposal to the State government following an erratic monsoon that has disrupted blossom and cropping across Chikmagalur, Kodagu and Hassan.
The proposal calls for interest relief on crop loans, support for replanting where estates have suffered damage, and a review of the irrigation situation on robusta estates affected by high temperatures earlier in the season.
KPA will continue to represent the concerns of its members in discussions with the Coffee Board and the State authorities in the coming weeks.
